Dear
Pool Owners
Let's make the most of the remaining summer season and our pools! It has been a tough period for all and now it's the simple things in life that count for a lot - family, friends, exercise and play. There is definitely time to sneak in a few more lazy summer weekends at home.
The first thing to get right is the pool cover. Are you covered already? Do you need to replace or repair a cover? Have your needs changed? Or maybe you did not buy the best quality cover the first time and need to upgrade. We'd like to make sure you have a lasting pool cover solution that both fits your family's needs as well as your budget. Below, we unpack the affordable GeoBubble range. Not many people equate a pool cover as a way to extend the summer but, with GeoBubble, the remarkable increase in temperature means you will swim at least 6 weeks longer this season and then start swimming 6 weeks earlier in spring. 12 extra weeks in a heated pool is not to be sniffed at!
With winter around the corner, now is the time to make sure your cover is in good working order so you can close the pool in cooler months. With less technology-driven products coming into the market, I urge you to do your research and know what to look for when buying or replacing your cover. Every day we have pool owners coming to us, starting from scratch after a bad purchase choice and a cover that has disintegrated into a million pieces. Read on for more on what to look for in a pool cover and why we stand out from the rest.
Wishing you a safe, sustainable and stylish summer wind down!

The GeoBubble range - high performance pool covers have come of age
The innovative GeoBubble thermal material allows one to have a far more sustainable pool with less of a carbon footprint. Savings vary according to cover type but each month you will see your running costs reducing and far less time spent on upkeep. When it comes to thermal covers, it does not get better than the next generation GeoBubble technology using the figure 8 shape bubble. No other thermal pool material performs as well or has a longer lifespan. (These covers lie directly on the water's surface and are not suitable for child or pet safety). Choose from three GeoBubble types, depending on your needs.

Automatic and manual rollup stations for your GeoBubble cover
The PowerPlastics Automated GeoRoller is an excellent and affordable way to add automation to your GeoBubble cover without the cost of fully automatic slatted covers. For the pool owner looking for style as well as convenience, GeoRoller is the perfect finish for the outdoor area. Learn more here.

|
|
For tighter budgets, the manually operated Jupiter Rollup Station and the Mercury Rollup Station are great alternatives.
|
|
|
When should you replace your pool cover? - Tears or holes in the cover material
- Material becomes brittle and prone to breakage when handling
- Material has changed colour
- Cover is tired and old looking
- If you have a Rollup Station, check all parts and the attachment kits. If any of the webbing straps are fraying, it's time for some repairs.
Don't ignore the signs of ageing! Your cover's performance will be compromised and the pool will start costing far more than it should! For child safety covers, repair or replace right away - it is not worth the risk.

A recent customer review: The EnergyGuard Selective Transmission™ GeoBubble Cover is FANTASTIC product - wow! I honestly thought it wouldn't make much of difference to be honest, but my husband insisted on getting it - it's completely changed the temperature of our chilly pool. We have NEVER spent so much time in the pool over Summer! We are using WAY LESS chlorine and other chemicals than before and it's saving us on so much water - it's a NO BRAINER for people with pools! Nadine was efficient in helping us choose a product that worked for our needs, I can only recommend this product and company! Thank you for making our pool work better for us.
Thanks to Claire and Warren Fisher for sharing!
